Mumbai (formerly called Bombay) is a densely populated city on India’s west coast. A financial center, it's India's largest city. On the Mumbai Harbour waterfront stands the iconic Gateway of India stone arch, built by the British Raj in 1924. Offshore, nearby Elephanta Island holds ancient cave temples dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. The city's also famous as the heart of the Bollywood film industry.
Shirdi is a town in the state of Maharashtra, in western India. It's known as the former home of revered spiritual leader Sai Baba, and as a major pilgrimage site. Devotees gather daily at the Sai Baba Temple complex to honor his legacy. Here, the Samadhi Mandir shrine has an ornate marble statue of Sai Baba, alongside his tomb. Close by are Dwarkamai, a mosque where Sai Baba once lived, and tree-lined Lendi Garden.
Parli Vaijnath Temple or Parli Vaidyanath Temple, is located in the state of Maharashtra and belongs to the celebrated list of 12 Jyotirlinga temples of Shiva. Parli Vaijnath Temple Linga is also popular as Dhanavantari and Amriteshwari. The Linga consists of the Saligram stone and has a very smooth surface.
The village of Parli is very ancient and has other names – Kantipur, Madhyarekha Vaijayanti or Jayanti.

Travel to Nanded via Grieshneshwar and Aundha Nagnath Temple. Evening visit to the Hazur Sahib Gurdwara. Travel to Nanded via Grishneshwar and Aundha Nagnath Temple (Total Travel 400 kms – 7.5 hours). Grishneshwar and Aundha Nagnath Temples are one of the 12 Jyotirlinga Temples of Lord Shiva. Evening visit to the Hazur Sahib Gurdwara.
Travel to Ahmednagar via Parli Baidyanath Temple and Shani Shinganapur. Travel to Ahmednagar via Parli Vaijnath Temple (390 kms – 7.5 hours). Enroute visit Parli Baidyanath temple (Also referred to as Parli Vaijnath temple and believed by many as one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temple) and and Shani Shinganapur.
Travel to Bhimashankar before departure Travel to Bhimashankar (180 kms – 4.5 hours) to visit the Jyotirlinga Temple. Depart to Mumbai (220 kms) / Pune (100 kms).
